John Henri Millward SEGROTT, born in 1902 (Wisbech Q2-1902 3B:550), (mother ? SEGROTT), the adopted son of Edgar and Rebecca BAILEY (née MISSEN).
1911 census...Aged 8 he was a boarder with cab driver in livery stable, Edgar BAILEY and wife Rebecca, at Station Terrace, Newmarket He married Ethel AUSTIN in Isleham in 1930 (Newmarket Q1-1930 3B:790). In 1939 they were at The Pit, Isleham with their son Leslie John BAILEY. |

Being on the Commonwealth War Grave Commission's List he must have died "in uniform" or if after discharge, for reasons attributable to his military service. Unless a relative can update us, that is all we can do for now. |
